Wedding Guide & Catering Menus
Food All food items must be supplied and prepared by the Club, and may not be removed from the premises. Should any dietary requests arise, please contact the Club in advance to accommodate them. Prices for food are listed as per person charges. Specialty dessert items not prepared by Greystone Golf & Country Club’s culinary team will incur additional rates, starting at $2.50 per person. Any additional food and beverage items may not be taken off Club property for later consumption.
Guarantee Counts A final guest head count is due one week prior to the event. The Club will bill for the guaranteed number of attendees or the actual attendance, whichever is greater.
Alcoholic Beverages The Club complies with all ABC regulations regarding the sale of alcohol, with the legal drinking age in Alabama being 21. Guests may be asked to show their identification. The Club reserves the right to refuse service at any time. Beer, wine, or liquor from outside sources are not allowed to be brought onto Club property, and no products may leave the premises. Specialty beverages are subject to additional fees based on ingredients and availability, including those from external vendors or specially ordered items. For private parties requesting a bar, there will be a $150 charge per bartender per 50 guests. Pricing Club menus are subject to change without notice until 60 days prior to the event. All food and beverage items are subject to a 22% service charge and current Alabama sales tax. Specialty equipment rentals, external vendors, and additional staffing may incur additional labor fees. Choice of Entrée Seated menu functions requesting a choice of entrée will be limited to three or fewer entrée options. Parties selecting a choice of entrée will be required to provide the Club with the exact number of each entrée 72 hours before the event. Additionally, the host must provide place cards with guest names and a distinct code to indicate the entrée selection. The Club can provide these cards for an additional $1.50 per card. All entrées will be served with the same salad, entrée accompaniments, and dessert. Menus where guests choose their entrée at the time of arrival are limited to two entrée options, with a maximum count of 20 guests at no cost, additional guests $10 per person for day of selections. The first course and dessert must be the same for all guests unless approved by culinary management. Dress Code Members and their guests are invited to display as much sartorial splendor as they desire while at the Club. We encourage Members and their guests to dress up, rather than dress down, and attire should be worn in a neat, non-disheveled manner. Shirts are to be worn tucked in unless the shirt is specifically tailored to be worn untucked. Hats must be removed when entering the Clubhouse. Special Club events may have a published dress code. Accepted attire for private events is at the discretion of the event host, as long as it meets the Club’s standards of dress. Members are encouraged to consider common sense and the comfort level of fellow Members and their guests when making casual attire dress code decisions.
