In Loving Memory of George Francis Becker Born 6-23-1951, Bronx, New York

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of George, who left us last Saturday night. George’s zest for life, his unwavering love for his family, his cherished golden retrievers, and his love of photography, nature, and mountain biking were all defining qualities that endeared him to everyone he met. His passionate, adventurous, and charming spirit will forever resonate in our hearts. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan, and their adoring son, Morgan; his sister, Connie Genova, and her sons Michael (wife Kelly, sonsMax and Grayson) and John Genova. George was not just a husband and father; he was a pillar of strength and a source of boundless love to his family. A celebration of life in honor of George will take place on Thursday, October 26th, at the Greystone Golf and Country Club from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. We invite all who knewand lovedGeorge to join us in commemorating his remarkable life and the indelible impact he made on all of us. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations bemade to a charity close to George’s heart: the YMCA of Greater Birmingham.
