The Stone Newsletter -- April, May & June 2025

GENERAL MANAGER’S MESSAGE

Dear Members, I hope you are having a great spring so far. This is my favorite time of year when everything starts blooming and grass growing (aside from the pollen), and moods are great with warmer temperatures. The Club is exploding with activity, positive improvements, and fun events for you and your family. I hope you feel the energy and see us improving. We have a wonderful team of employees and supportive leaders on the Board and committees, and you are utilizing the Club amenities and attending events. As I reach my 10th anniversary at Greystone in April, I am so proud of what we have accomplished, but we are just getting started. I have never been more energized and thankful for my employees and the Members in my 32-year private club career. The culmi nation of a long vision coming to life is so rewarding. We just graduated another class of Greystone employees from Greystone University, topping 100 in total, and we recently had our senior staff annual retreat and a mid-managers summit. During both events, we spent time talking about pride and what has made each person proud about their department or another department over the last year. It was very powerful to listen to when you have a goal, and now, they are teaching me and telling me how good we have become, and they are so hungry for more. What an honor to be part of that growth and success. The Regions Tradition Experience In 2025, the Member experience will be so much more than in past years, with members-only hats included in the ticket price, new entertainment, expanded live music and DJs, a badge holders only kickoff party in the Regions Tent the week before the tournament, and new food and beverage offerings that will blow you away. Exclusive Golf Travel with Golf Traveller Members may remember meeting Gary Christian, former PGA Tour player, at the Holiday Open House last winter. We are excited to announce a new partnership with Gary and Golf Traveller, offering Greystone members access to bespoke golf travel experiences around the world. This new service provides seamless access to top-tier courses, luxury accommodations, and cultural experiences that go beyond just golf trips. So, if you’re looking to play St. Andrews, explore South Africa, or experience New Zealand’s stunning courses, Gary will be available to create a customized itinerary tailored to your preferences. Their expertise ensures both golfers and non-golfers enjoy an unforgettable journey. You can reach out to them directly with their information on the back of this issue. Events for teens & Kids this summer We have a jam-packed summer for kids and teens that you’ll see throughout this newsletter. From our Teen Baking Camp where young bakers can refine their skills, to our Teen Member-Guest Tournament and pre-party—our first-ever event of its kind at the club—there’s plenty to look forward to. Teens can also get involved in our Kickball League, 3v3 Basketball League, and enjoy Teen Nights at the Pool on Thursdays, where they can bring guests for free. Get ready for a season packed with fun and memora ble experiences! Tequila & Bourbon We have also added some fun for the adults with two curated spirits experiences. In April, we’ll host an educational Cincoro Te quila Tasting, perfectly timed ahead of Cinco de Mayo. This guided tasting will feature Blanco, Reposado, and Añejo, followed by food and tequila cocktails in the foyer and Trophy Room. Then in June we are creating a new Greystone blend from Knob Creek. They will bring a kit of barrel samples for blending, and we will have members sign up and will do a raffle just like the Member Guest drawing for 8 members to create our blend. We will then have 132 bottles delivered with our special blend in private-label bottles in 90 days. Podcasts Our future podcasts this quarter will include a look behind the planning and execution of the Regions Tradition, member

spotlights, my college peers who are Club GMs, how our numbers stack up to other clubs with Club Benchmarking, and founding members and staff miniseries, to name a few. Please stay tuned for a more formal schedule. I look forward to seeing you around the Club soon. Best, Dave Porter ave Porter GM/CEO
