PRESIDENT’ S MESSAGE
DEAR MEMBERS, As my term as Club President draws to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve been on together. Serving this exceptional Club has been an honor, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved over the past year. One of our most significant accomplishments has been the master planning for the Founders Clubhouse and Course. This project lays the foundation for future development and growth, ensuring we maintain the world-class facilities that define our Club. While the plans are in place, the Board will move this project forward when the timing is right for the Club, balancing innovation with stability for our members. We also had the privilege of hosting another spectacular Regions Tradition Golf Tournament. This event continues to elevate our club’s standing in the world of golf and brings members and guests together for a week of unforgettable experiences. I’m also excited about Mark Porcaro’s addition to our Culinary team. His talent and vision are already making a significant impact on our dining experiences, and I look forward to the exciting culinary innovations ahead. On the financial front, we have positioned the Club with a strong future. Through prudent management and strategic decisions, we’ve ensured that the Club remains not only financially secure but well-prepared to meet future challenges. We’ve also been committed to continuously improving our services and facilities. One highlight has been the refresh and rebranding of Cellar 91 into Ninety-One, a revitalization that has brought new energy to our dining offerings and elevated the member experience. As I step down from my role as President, I am grateful for the support and dedication of our members, staff, and leadership team. The future is bright, and I have no doubt that the Club will continue to thrive and evolve.
Thank you all for making my term as President an unforgetta ble experience.
Sincerely, Rod Fuller

GENERAL MANAGER’ S MESSAGE
DEAR MEMBERS, I am thrilled to share a series of exciting updates and future plans for the Club. Our focus remains on enhancing your overall experience and ensuring that each visit feels more memorable than the last. Our re-branded Ninety-One Restaurant has undergone significant improvements to offer you an even more inviting and elevated dining experience. Thoughtful renovations have refreshed the space, creating a warm, contemporary atmosphere perfect for any occasion. We can’t wait for you to see and enjoy the new look. Adding to the excitement, we have a new culinary team led by a passionate and innovative Executive Chef, Mark Porcaro. He has three new leaders joining our team and is eager to share his mix of creative and classic dishes crafted from the freshest ingredients. Matt Barna, Chef de Cuisine, will lead Ninety-One and other Founders aspects. Matt is a Culinary Institute of America graduate and has worked in leadership positions at Marriott Singer Island in Florida, as well as several of Emeril Lagasse’s restaurants. Dan Klinker, Executive Sous Chef, will be leading the Legacy operation. Dan has extensive experience in private clubs, such as Berkeley Hally in Bluffton, SC, The Old Farm and Hermitage Clubs in Virginia, Jupiter Country Club and Old Palm Country Club in Florida, as well as the famous Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, Florida. We are also fortunate to add the talents of Nick Rice, Roundsman Chef, who joins us from Memphis, where he held leadership positions at TPC Southwind, Chickasaw Country Club, and Ridgeway Country Club.
Autumn is upon us, and the club has a lineup of festive fall and holiday events planned to bring our community together. From elegant dinners to lively gatherings, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Keep an eye on our event calendar and be sure to RSVP for these can’t-miss occasions. Reservations are now open for all of your favorite events. This year, we’ve replaced the declining Dickens Dinner with “Holiday Harmonies,” an elegant family dinner buffet including a Christmas concert, and we can’t wait to share the details with you. Looking ahead, we’re laying the groundwork for 2025 and beyond. Our budget planning includes essential projects such as paving at Legacy, Tennis, and Pool, as well as substantial HVAC replacement. An artificial hitting surface will be installed at each range for out side events and soggy days, and extensive cart path replacement will top the list of improvements next year. These enhancements are part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining top-notch facilities and amenities for our members. We are pleased to announce our strategic plan to pay down $1.5 million in debt in 2025 and 2026. At the end of 2026, the Founders’ new $4.5 M Irrigation system will be paid off without additional assessment. This move will strengthen our financial health and ensure our club’s stable and prosperous future. We are excited to launch our new podcast, “Greystone Unscripted.” Packed with insider stories, interviews, and club news, this podcast is designed to keep you connected with all that’s happening within Greystone. Please tune in to stay informed and engaged with our vibrant club life. Thank you for being an integral part of Greystone. The staff and I look forward to seeing you at Ninety-One Restaurant, participating in our events, and enjoying everything we have to offer.
Be sure to join us soon to meet the team and experience their culinary talents combined with our talented existing team.
Warm Regards, Dave Porter

RACQUET SPORTS
DEAR MEMBERS,
TENNIS EVENTS
This fall we will see cooler weather on the courts, but our matches are just heating up!
OCTOBER OCTOBER 25 | FRIDAY HALLOWEEN MIXER @ 6PM $20++ ENTRY FEE
As you may know our Fall Soft Court League began in September and has brought increased activity down at the tennis courts, so if you want to book a play time, be sure reserve a court using the mobile app or greystonecc.com website. Some big events we have planned this quarter include our Semi Annual Battle of the Stone Tournament on November 15th , and our Halloween Mixer on October 25th . As I’ve mentioned in the past, our mixers are a great way for people interested in tennis to meet other players at the club and get involved in our tennis pro grams. Entry fees are $20++ and includes refreshments with a Member charge bar. If you are looking for more fierce competition on the courts, you can register for our Battle of the Stone Tournament and team up with either Founders or Legacy to compete for the title of Greystone’s best. This tournament has a $150 entry fee and includes door prizes, refreshments, and a Member charge bar. We also have camps available for women & kids this November, so be on the lookout for details on our Turkey Camp when you check the Tuesday Sports & Wellness E-News.
NOVEMBER NOVEMBER 15 | FRIDAY FALL BATTLE OF THE STONE @ 8:30AM - 2PM $150 ENTRY FEE
